SAP Sapphire 2025 Orlando: Highlights & Key Takeaways

SAP Sapphire has long been the stage for groundbreaking innovation and future-facing strategy, and the 2025 edition in Orlando raised the bar once again. As proud sponsors of this year’s event, our team had the opportunity to witness firsthand how SAP is transforming the enterprise landscape - embedding AI deeper into the core, elevating data-driven decision-making, and strengthening the partner ecosystem that powers customer success.

In this blog, we’re sharing the key takeaways from the event, highlighting the technologies, concepts, and moments that made the greatest impact on us and the broader SAP community.

Joule Steps Into the Spotlight: From Assistant to Intelligent Agent

If there was one word that defined Sapphire 2025, it was Joule.

SAP’s AI copilot is no longer just a helpful prompt-based assistant - it’s evolving into a full-fledged automation engine. The introduction of Joule Studio allows users to build and orchestrate AI-powered agents with no-code tools, enabling cross-system automations tailored to specific business needs.

These Joule Agents are designed to handle real-world use cases: automating employee onboarding, financial reconciliations, procurement workflows, and more. What impressed us most was the seamlessness - how natural language prompts, internal business data, and process logic come together to drive real action with measurable outcomes.

The Flywheel: SAP’s Vision for Continuous Value Creation

A compelling concept introduced this year was the SAP Flywheel. At its core, it’s about reinforcing the synergy between applications, data, and AI.

Here’s how it works:

- Applications generate and consume real-time business data

- That data fuels embedded AI, improving decision-making

- AI capabilities, in turn, enhance how applications are used and built

This feedback loop creates compounding value over time, and is only made possible through the deep integration SAP is now delivering with its unified cloud suite.

SAP Business Data Cloud: Turning Silos into Strategy

The expanded SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) was another standout topic.

BDC aims to centralize both SAP and third-party data into a single harmonized layer. This trusted data foundation enables more accurate forecasting, streamlined reporting, and context-rich AI outputs - all of which are becoming essential as organizations strive for agility.

We saw powerful examples of how customers are using BDC to link operational and financial planning, unify ESG metrics, and surface critical insights faster than ever before.

Clean Core, Real Tools: Supporting Sustainable Transformation

Maintaining a clean ERP core is no longer just a best practice - it’s a requirement for long-term innovation.

To support this, SAP showcased a robust toolchain:

- SAP Signavio: for business process modeling and optimization

- LeanIX: for managing enterprise architecture and application portfolios

- Cloud ALM: for streamlined project management and system operations

- WalkMe: for user onboarding and adoption

Together, these tools empower organizations to transform confidently, balancing flexibility with governance at every step of the journey.

Sustainability also took the spotlight with the official release of the SAP Green Ledger.
This groundbreaking innovation brings carbon data into financial reporting structures, allowing companies to apply the same level of auditability and accuracy to emissions as they do to dollars. By integrating environmental metrics into the ERP system, SAP is enabling organizations to meet rising ESG demands and regulatory expectations without adding operational complexity.

The Role of Partners in the AI Era

Throughout the week, we saw real-world examples of how SAP and its partners are co-innovating to deliver AI-powered, industry-specific solutions. From generative AI in field service to predictive insights in manufacturing, the message was clear: no one goes it alone in digital transformation.

Our own conversations with customers and fellow partners confirmed that collaboration is not just appreciated, it’s essential. As a long-time SAP partner, we’re excited to see SAP leaning into ecosystem-driven innovation more than ever before.

We kicked things off with an evening at Cuba Libre alongside SAP, customers, and partners.
If you missed it this year, we hope to see you at the next one!
